My Journey to Building LizKadiiConnect

For a long time I dreamed of having a place where all the pieces of me could live together — the music, the art, the stories and the faith that guide me. I wanted a space that felt like home, not just another link on the internet.

I used to think someone else had to build it for me. I waited, planned and worried, until one day I decided to try. I didn’t know every button or colour rule, but I had a heart full of ideas and a will to learn. Each click, each small success, became a reminder that courage grows quietly.

There were nights of frustration and moments I almost gave up, but every mistake taught me something new. Bit by bit, the site began to breathe. Now, when I open LizKadiiConnect, I see not just a website but proof that persistence and faith can build something beautiful.

This is only the beginning. My goal is to keep sharing songs, stories and art that speak hope — little reminders that light still lives in quiet places. Thank you for visiting this space and walking this journey with me.

With love and creativity,

Liz Kadii

Behind the Song – “Mama, You’re My Star”

Every song I write begins as a feeling before it becomes a melody.

“Mama, You’re My Star” was born from quiet reflection, a moment when gratitude overflowed into sound.

I wrote it to celebrate every woman whose strength shines even when life feels heavy. The song carries the voice of love, sacrifice, and comfort, the kind of love that never fades, even in silence.

The melody came first, soft and steady, like a heartbeat. Then the words followed, gentle, honest, and filled with admiration. I wanted the song to sound like a warm hug, something that reminds us all that a mother’s love continues to guide us, no matter the distance.

Recording it was emotional. I remember closing my eyes and letting every lyric flow from a place of truth. It’s one of those songs that doesn’t just play, it speaks.

If you haven’t listened yet, you can find “Mama, You’re My Star” on my Stories & Songs page or directly on my YouTube channel.

May it lift your heart the way it lifted mine while creating it.

With love and harmony,

Liz Kadii
